Houston Children’s Chorus Presents Daycamp For Galveston Kids

The nationally-acclaimed Houston Children’s Chorus will present its annual summer day camp for the children of Galveston this coming July 23rd-29th.

The Chorus is looking for children who have completed grades 3 through 8, and who love singing and performing. Daily rehearsals will be held from 9am-3pm at Garten Verein Pavilion in Kempner Park, Galveston.

A final “Summer Pops Concert” will be presented by the Galveston children and the Houston Children’s Chorus on Sunday, July 29th at 5pm, in the historic Scottish Rite Auditorium, Galveston.

The cost for the week is $25 for new enrollees. Previous participants do not have to pay. All children will be given a free lunch each day and a free performance t-shirt at the end of the week. Registration is required. Visit to register. The deadline for registration is July 15th.

Joining the children of Galveston and the Houston Children’s Chorus will be 20 children from Taiwan.
