Rosenberg Library: November Children’s Events

Babytime. Join us for songs, bounces, books, puppets & rhymes. Perfect for prewalkers and their significant others. Wednesdays in November. 9:30-9:50am.

Storytime. Storytime features books, puppets, music & movement – planned to promote early literacy development and fun interaction between young children and caregivers. Wednesdays in November. 10am-10:30am.

Paws to Read. It’s a simple concept – beginning readers practice reading skills with our therapy dog Oliver. He’s loving, kind and very non-judgmental. Check in at the children’s desk to get signed up for a turn. Thursdays through November 16 6pm-7pm.

Glow in the Dark Family Fun. Glow in the dark fun in the Founder’s Room! We’ll play games and create a glow in the dark painting. Monday, November 6. 7-7:30pm.

Tech Time. Work together in teams to create a video game using Bloxels. For ages 7-12. Registration required at Events Calendar. Saturday, November 11. 10-11:30am.

Family Fun Fairy Tales. Listen to stories and create a unique fairy tale themed craft. Monday, November 13. 7-7:30pm.

Write Stuff. Drop by between 10am and 5pm and get your creative juices flowing with fun writing exercises. Saturday, November 18. Drop-in 10am-5pm.

Drop-in Games. Drop by between 10am and 5pm for board games in the Children’s Department. Monday, November 20. Drop-in 10am-5pm.

Drop-in Clay Crafts. Drop by between 10am and 5pm and make your own unique clay creation. Tuesday, November 21. Drop-in 10am-5pm.

Star Party. Discover the wonders of the night sky with Ranger Lisa from Galveston Island State Park. Tuesday, November 21. 7-7:30pm.

Create a Comic. Drop by between 10am and 5pm and create your own comic strip. Saturday, November 25. Drop-in 10am-5pm.

Arctic Animal Family Fun. Join us for stories and songs about our favorite Arctic Animals. Monday, November 27. 7-7:30pm.

Holiday Story Countdown. Stop by every day at 4pm for a festive holiday story read aloud in the Children’s Department. Every day at 4pm. November 20-December 22.
