Enjoy Texas Craft Beer at Brewmasters Craft Beer Festival
The Lone Star state is home to over 275 craft beer breweries. Whether you brew your own or just like to support local business, the 10th annual Brewmaster Craft Beer Festival is an excellent opportunity to check out some new brews.

Sunday Hootenanny Jam at Galveston Island Brewing Company
Galveston Island Brewery is a dog and family-friendly brewery that has an on-site taproom and is open seven days a week. If you’re in the mood for enjoying a pint and listening to music, Dem Roots Reggae is the featured band for the Sunday Hootenanny Jam event.

Spend the Day at Pleasure Pier
Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier is a “must see” attraction for out-of-towners and a popular spot to visit for residents of the area. Spend the afternoon on the rides, playing classic Midway games, or watch the feature at the 5D theatre.

Check Out Galveston Island State Park
While the camp sites are already filled over the Labor Day weekend at Galveston Island State Park, you can still spend the day hiking around, spending time at the beach, and check out other things to do in the park.

Safety Tips for the Holiday Weekend
