November 30th (1-4pm): “Artistic Impressions” Gallery Presentations – Enjoy a unique and fascinating glimpse behind the artist’s brush. American Impressionist artist Randall Kirby Cogburn will be doing 30-minute live gesture portrait sessions and sharing his knowledge and adventures of life as an artist. Whether in his studio or on location, his works reflect the tradition of the original Impressionist painters emphasizing loose and precise brushwork, vivid color, and the importance of light. An award-winning artist, Randall has studied a broad range of painting styles from realist to abstract, impressionist to classical. His work is available in public and private collections throughout the country. His paintings depicting cityscapes, seascapes, landscapes, and portraits are displayed at Island Framed in Galveston.
