The Friends of Rosenberg Library Book Sale & Give-Away takes place at Galveston’s Own Farmers Market (GOFM) every second Sunday of the month. To participate, all you have to do is show up at the market, 9am-12 noon, at Bryan Museum, 1315 21st St., Galveston and peruse the books or just come grab a free kids book to take home.

The Friends curate special selections of nature, cooking, and science-related books, but you’ll also find plenty of fiction, children’s literature, and general book goodness. Pay a few extra bucks and become a Friends of Rosenberg Library member yourself and take home a special keepsake.

They’re always looking for volunteers to help with the book sale at the market, so let them know if you’re game for a few hours of page-turning fun.

Future book sales will be August 12th, September 9th, October 14th, November 11th, and December 9th.
