Announcing New Hire of Additional Head Chef at Yaga’s Cafe
Yaga’s Presents is pleased to announce it is expanding its culinary talent with the recent addition of Chef William W. Pickavance III. Pickavance will assist Executive Chef Chris Lopez to oversee the entire culinary aspect of Yaga’s Café and companywide catering, focusing on the continuation of serving fresh ingredients and high-quality dishes.
Yaga’s Presents is confident this addition to the Yaga’s Café team will continue to uphold the restaurant’s relevancy from a culinary standpoint that Chef Lopez has delivered for over ten years. The hiring of Pickavance will also help to accommodate more private parties, events, weddings, and luncheons.
The company’s strategic plan includes the addition of another culinary concept in the late 2019 or early 2020. Pickavance and Lopez will be developing the concept’s menu in the remainder of 2018.
With over 21 years of culinary experience, Chef Pickavance’s resume is outstanding. As a graduate from the Culinary Institute of America in New York, Pikavance has put his culinary degree to use. He has worked under two Certified Master Chefs, and lead the openings as the head chef of two restaurants in Galveston.
