Summer Theatre Camp is a week-long residency program presented by Missoula Children’s Theatre and The Grand and will culminate in a full musical performance of “Gulliver’s Travels” on Friday, July 26th at 6pm on The Grand’s stage.
The Missoula Children’s Theatre is a non-profit organization based in Missoula, Montana. This coming year more than 65,000 cast members across the globe will take to the stage to the delight and applause of their families, friends, community, neighbors, and teachers! The summer camp residency in Galveston is made possible by The Grand 1894 Opera House.
This is a one-week theatre camp presented by the Missoula Children’s Theatre actors/directors and the staff at The Grand. The camp culminates with a performance of “Gulliver’s Travels” presented by Missoula Children’s Theatre. Camp will be held July 22nd-26th, 12:30-5:30pm, and is open to students ages 7-16. Cost is $245 per student. Camp size is limited and reservation and first deposit must be made by May 1st, 2019.
If you love to perform for family and friends – this is the camp for you! Led by actors/directors from Missoula Children’s Theatre as well as The Grand’s camp staff, camp will consist of daily rehearsals and direction on acting, singing, and technical theatre, as well as theatre crafts and performance instruction.
Campers must commit to attending all camp sessions and participating in the final performance on Friday evening.
