Coming to The Grand is country-music legend Ray Benson, for a unique solo acoustic concert on Saturday, June 26, with performances at 5pm and 8pm.
This Philadelphia-born, six-foot, seven-inch front man and founder of the world-renowned swing band – Asleep at the Wheel – is certain to delight and entertain The Grand’s audiences!
A nine-time Grammy award-winner, Benson will include hilarious behind-the-scenes stories of working with legends in the industry and secrets behind some of his favorite songs. Ray Benson graced The Grand’s stage when he starred in A Ride with Bob: The Bob Wills Musical and has made several appearances at The Grand with Asleep at the Wheel. He was awarded the Texas Medal of Arts in 2011.
Tickets for this production will open for sale Monday, May 10 for both performances. Seating capacity will be limited to 200 patrons per performance.
