Come take a cooking class at The Kitchen Chick! Wear your worst sweater and join Chef Mary for a festive holiday brunch cooking class! Learn to make a savory sage sausage, red bell pepper, herb & mushroom frittata bake. Next, we’ll whip up sweet & spicy sweet potato medallions kissed with brown sugar, cracked pepper and cumin. You will also learn to prepare an eggnog infused french toast casserole studded with rum soaked cherries and drizzled with a light white chocolate sauce. She’ll kick things off by teaching you to make whiskey drunk brown sugar meatballs. Next, you will learn to make roasted pork with a tequila infused tropical fruit chutney snuggled next to mashed sweet potatoes. You will learn to make savory beef medallions topped with champagne poached seared scallops drizzled in a champagne buerre blanc snuggled next to roasted cauliflower mash. Next, enjoy creating a crisp winter salad with segmented navel oranges, pomegranate ariels, and toasted spiced walnuts tossed in a homemade champagne vinaigrette dressing. We’ll start by teaching your son or daughter to make mile-high, homemade, fluffy biscuits. Next, they will learn the secret to making crispy chicken-fried-chicken. We’ll take those biscuits and stack them with the savory chicken to make the best-ever southern biscuit sammies! Everyone will learn to make tasty homemade tater tots and a quick ketchup for dipping.
