Cooking Class: Kids Breakfast Bakes! @ The Kitchen Chick

Come take a cooking class at The Kitchen Chick! Chef Mary Bass will teach young chefs how to bake an incredible breakfast from scratch! We’ll start by teaching your mini chef to make homemade focaccia bread that will turn into delicious baked French toast dippers. Kids will make a warm cinnamon apple sauce to accompany it. Next, they will each bake their own over-the-top cheesy bacon hash breakfast skillets. Finally, they will make seasonal smoothies with fresh fruit and topped with crunchy homemade granola. It’s a breakfast bake bonanza!

 

$50/child. This class is open to children 7 years and older.

Cooking Class: Kids Cozy Comfort Foods! @ The Kitchen Chick

Come take a cooking class at The Kitchen Chick! Chef Mary Bass will teach young chefs how to prepare some of their favorite comfort foods – from scratch! We’ll start by teaching your son or daughter to make mile-high, homemade, fluffy biscuits. Next, they will learn the secret to making crispy chicken-fried-chicken. We’ll take those biscuits and stack them with the savory chicken to make the best-ever southern biscuit sammies! Everyone will learn to make tasty homemade tater tots and a quick ketchup for dipping. Finally, we’ll make a frosted chocolate cream-filled cupcake that puts Hostess to shame! This is our kind of HAPPY meal!

Cooking Class: ShamROCK Brunch! @ The Kitchen Chick

Come take a cooking class at The Kitchen Chick! Leapin’ leprechauns you’re invited to celebrate St. Patty’s Day-after with a wee brunch! Chef Mary Bass will teach you to bake decadent Bailey’s french toast drizzled with a spiked chocolate sauce. Next, you will master a pot of gold breakfast bowl filled with seared lamb, crisp potatoes and spinach topped with a poached egg (you will learn the foolproof method). You’ll prepare a warm granola crisp filled with a rainbow of sweet apples. Finally, you will whip up a creamy dreamy shamrock shake. This class is so good you’ll almost pinch yourself!

Cooking Class: Step into Spring! @ The Kitchen Chick

Come take a cooking class at The Kitchen Chick! Chef Mary Bass will have you celebrating spring with delicious seasonal dishes! First, you will learn to make a creamy edamame hummus. You will practice your knife skills by preparing a farm stand crudité (that’s fancy for raw veggies!) to accompany the hummus. Next, you will make pasta from scratch and with fresh spring herbs incorporated into the dough. You will top it with homemade ricotta, seasonal veggies, savory chicken and a light cream sauce. Finally, we will whip up a lemon and lavender cake with a mint syrup drizzle. This class makes it easy to indulge in spring’s bounty; no green thumb required!

Cooking Class: Tuscan Wine Dinner! @ The Kitchen Chick

Come take a cooking class at The Kitchen Chick! Join Chef Mary under the Tuscan sun for an authentic Italian meal! We’ll start by learning to make a classic panzanella salad full of garden grown tomatoes and fragrant herbs. Next, we’ll teach you to make pasta from scratch. We’ll cook our fresh pasta and toss it with kalamata olives, mushrooms, ripe tomatoes, spinach and artichokes. We’ll create a homemade white wine and pesto cream sauce for the dish and finish it with sauteed gulf shrimp. Finally, we’ll bake a rustic Tuscan apple cake and enjoy it warm with ice cream made locally at Hey Mikey’s. Mama mia, this is going to be a delizioso class!

Cooking Class: Fresh from the Farm! @ The Kitchen Chick

Come take a cooking class at The Kitchen Chick! Shake off your spring fever, Chef Bailey Glover is excited to show you how to cook with fresh produce! Start by learning to make creamy ricotta cheese from scratch! After stretching your own homemade pizza dough you’ll load it with tender stalks of asparagus, bright lemon, salty proscuitto and that fresh ricotta and bake it to a crisp! Next, you’ll prepare grilled baby bella mushrooms stuffed with parmesan & spinach. You will also make a citrus and mozzarella stack salad with a fresh champagne vinaigrette. For dessert, we’ll make a dreamy tomato ‘sundae’ with velvety olive oil ice cream from scratch – trust us, this sundae will blow your mind! This class will have you eating like a farmer!

Chef Bailey will teach you to make an addicting (and healthy!) cauliflower fried rice. Finally, you will bake a batch of unbelievable soft & chewy double chocolate cookies. Too good to be true?!
