She will teach you her biscuit basics plus you will make a seasonal fruit jam from scratch, a compound butter AND crispy chicken fried chicken honey sammies (ssshhhhh they’re better than What-A-Burger!)! Cooking Class: Keto Comfort Food! @ The Kitchen Chick

Come take a cooking class at The Kitchen Chick! Chef Bailey Glover has adapted some of your favorite Asian dishes to make them ketogenic-friendly! Start the class by learning to make crispy ginger & garlic turkey lettuce wraps. Next, you will prepare a delicious low-carb chicken pad thai that is perfectly keto. Chef Bailey will teach you to make an addicting (and healthy!) cauliflower fried rice. Finally, you will bake a batch of unbelievable soft & chewy double chocolate cookies. Too good to be true?! Cooking Class: Mac & Cheese, Yes Please! @ The Kitchen Chick

Come take a cooking class at The Kitchen Chick! It’s time to get cheesy with Chef Mary Bass! Prepare for cheese overload. You will learn to make ridiculous crispy pork rind coated fried bacon mac & cheese balls with a green chile remoulade dipping sauce. Next, you will learn to prepare a creamy dreamy southern pimento cheese mac & cheese. You will make a cajun mac & cheese studded with crawfish. Finally, you’ll bake cookie bowls and fill them with sweet whipped mascarpone cheese and drizzled with homemade caramel sauce. We make it easy, to be cheesy here at The Kitchen Chick!

You will learn: knife skills; how to debone a chicken; how to make chicken stock from scratch; how to make béchamel; how to make pate’ brisee; and how to make homemade chicken pot pie! You will enjoy eating chicken pot pie in class. And, you will take more chicken pot pie to-go, along with 1 quart of chicken stock! Let us help you build your foundational skills!

Cooking Class: It’s All About Latitudes & Attitudes! @ The Kitchen Chick

Come take a cooking class at The Kitchen Chick! It’s time to celebrate the bounty of the gulf waters: fresh seafood! Join Chef Mary Bass and learn to prepare delicious coastal dishes in your own kitchen! You will learn to make a gulf white fish fillet kissed with a crawfish beurre blanc sauce over a slow cooked sweet potato mash and roasted garlic asparagus. You will also make a shrimp maux choux tostada with homemade tortillas drizzled with a light corn milk dressing. Finally, we’ll end class on a sweet note by baking lemon coconut gooey butter bars! This class is a shore thing – don’t miss it!

Cooking Class: Tuscan Wine Dinner! @ The Kitchen Chick

Come take a cooking class at The Kitchen Chick! Join Chef Mary under the Tuscan sun for an authentic Italian meal! We’ll start by learning to make a classic panzanella salad full of garden grown tomatoes and fragrant herbs. Next, we’ll teach you to make pasta from scratch. We’ll cook our fresh pasta and toss it with kalamata olives, mushrooms, ripe tomatoes, spinach and artichokes. We’ll create a homemade white wine and pesto cream sauce for the dish and finish it with sauteed gulf shrimp. Finally, we’ll bake a rustic Tuscan apple cake and enjoy it warm with ice cream made locally at Hey Mikey’s. Mama mia, this is going to be a delizioso class!

Come take a cooking class at The Kitchen Chick! You’re invited on a tasty tour of the bayou with Chef Mary Bass that will get you in the Mardi Gras spirit! To start, you will learn to make traditional creole shrimp riding atop crispy corn cakes. Next, you will prepare irresistible cajun glazed chicken. We’ll bake up batches of individual flaky hand pies stuffed with voodoo crawfish swamp dip. For dessert, you will learn to make seasonal bread pudding with drizzled with decadent Kahlua caramel sauce from scratch! Laissez les bon temps roulez!

You will learn to bake airy herb popovers slathered with a compound butter. Next, you will prepare a flavorful minty tabbouleh salad perfect for summer entertaining. Chef Bailey will teach you how to grill her dynamite flank steak drizzled with a zesty chimichurri sauce. Finally, you will bake an incredible lemon tart with a homemade rosemary shortbread crust. Cooking Class: Seafood Ta-Ta-Tacos! @ The Kitchen Chick

Come take a cooking class at The Kitchen Chick! Summer, sand and a taco in your hand! Join Chef Mary Bass and take a delicious dive into seafood tacos! You will start by learning to make an addicting seafood queso perfect for dunking chips. Next, you will prepare a sweet heat Thai chili pineapple & jlapeno glazed salmon taco dressed with red cabbage slaw and queso fresco. Next, you will fry fresh gulf snapper and top it with chipotle tartar sauce, crisp radish salad and peppery arugula. These two tacos will be wrapped in hand made corn tortillas! We’ll end the class on a sweet note by making a decadent tres leches and fresh fruit trifle!
