Cooking Class: Mardi Gras Cookies with Royal Icing! @ The Kitchen Chick

Come take a cooking class at The Kitchen Chick! Join us for a festive sugar cookie decorating class to celebrate Mardi Gras! Chef Stephanie will teach you her secret recipe for making foolproof sugar cookies and how to ice them perfectly. You’ll learn to MAKE, pour, pipe, border, fill, dye, paint and dust royal frosting! Each participant will leave with a dozen decorated cookies, as well as all the recipes, knowledge and confidence to make them again at home! These fancy cookies with definitely get you in the Mardi Gras mood!

Cooking Class: Boozy Creole Feast! @ The Kitchen Chick

Come take a cooking class at The Kitchen Chick! You’re invited on a tasty tour of the bayou with Chef Bailey Shinn that will get you in the Mardi Gras spirit! To start, we’ll blend a batch of knockout fresh fruit Mardi-ritas to sip on. Next, you will prepare light & crispy GIB Tiki Wheat beer batter hush puppies with a classic remoulade dipping sauce. Next, you will learn a new twist on a traditional dish: shrimp & grits! You will prepare cheesy cracked pepper grits smothered with a white wine reduction cream sauce loaded with shrimp, andouille sausage and the holy trinity. For dessert, you will learn to bake an irresistible Bailey’s bread pudding with drizzled with decadent whiskey sauce from scratch! Laissez les bon temps roulez!

Cooking Class: Macaron Magic! @ The Kitchen Chick

Come take a cooking class at The Kitchen Chick! Join Chef Rachel of Felicite Macarons and learn to make authentic macarons! She’ll share her traditional recipe and you’ll learn the proper techniques to create the perfect crunch that transcends into a pillowy softness (aka heaven!). You will bake these classic cookies, make two fillings: one from scratch + one quick & easy and add an edible embellishment for presentation bonus points! Plus you’ll leave with beautiful cookies to take home too (if you can resist eating them all in class, that is!) These cookies are definitely made with love!

Cooking Class: Springtime in Paris! @ The Kitchen Chick

Come take a cooking class at The Kitchen Chick! Chef Oscar will whisk you away to the charming cafes of Paris! In this inspired class you will learn to prepare grilled asparagus topped with a classic compound butter: tarragon + chive. Next you will master the French soufflé by baking a version with fresh sweet peas. Next you will sear delicate salmon and learn to prepare a white wine pan sauce to drizzle on top. For dessert, you will make traditional mousse au citron with seasonal berries! Springtime never tasted so chic!

Cooking Class: French Soufflé Workshop! @ The Kitchen Chick

Come take a cooking class at The Kitchen Chick! Chef Oscar will teach you all the tips & tricks to mastering authentic French soufflés! You will bake a trio of light & airy soufflés during this class: tangy lemon soufflé topped with fresh strawberry coulis; cheesy gruyere & thyme soufflé; and decadent chocolate soufflé topped with traditional crème anglaise sauce! By the end of class you’ll be cheering yay for soufflé!

Come take a cooking class at The Kitchen Chick! Chef Bailey Glover has got a case of the Mondays … Monday meatball madness that is! Join her for this hands-on class that teaches you to prepare a trio of inspired homemade meatballs! You will learn to make creamy chipotle butter chicken fusion meatballs, an over-the-top mozzarella grilled cheese sandwich studded with spicy mini meatballs and mouthwatering grilled sirloin meatballs smothered in a bright chimichurri sauce. Mondays deserve dessert – you will make an assortment of decadent chocolate truffles dusted with cocoa powder! This class is a cure for the Monday blues!

Cooking Class: Southern Italy: Farmhouse Dinner! @ The Kitchen Chick

Come take a cooking class at The Kitchen Chick! Join Chef Oscar in the Italian countryside for a traditional dinner! You will prepare a fresh salad filled with zesty oranges and crisp green beans. Next, you will learn to perfectly braise succulent chicken smothered in a mushroom pan sauce over creamy Parmesan polenta topped with sage. For dessert, you will roll up your sleeves and bake a flaky crostata filled with berries and seasonal fruit that would impress any Nonna! This rustic dinner features all of the flavors from the farm!
