September 28th (2:30-5:30pm): Dog Scout Paint your Pet Fundraiser – Dog Scouts of America is a national non-profit organization. DSA’s mission is to improve the lives of dogs, their owners, and society through humane education, positive training, and community involvement. They envision a future where dogs remain in happy, lifelong homes with responsible owners. The Paint your Pet event is Dog Scout Troop 230’s main fundraiser for the year. Please join in as money is raised which allows Dog Scouts to offer lots of monthly activities free to the public. Cost is $55 and includes everything you need including your baby sketched on canvas. Deadline to register and send in your picture is September 20th. Please arrive 15-30 minutes early and feel free to BYOB and snacks. This will be held at Pinot’s Pallette, 322 ESE Loop 323, Tyler. A portion of each seat goes toward support of Dog Scouts of America, a national non-profit organization that promotes human/canine bond and responsible parenting of dogs.
