Welcome to the 2nd annual Galveston Beach run! This is a low key out and back 50k beach run. The race will start at the west end of Seawall blvd, right next to the Diamond Beach hotel. It then runs 15.5 miles down the beach and then back to finish. This race will be ran entirely in the sand, and will only have 2 locations for drop bags (exact distances for drop bags to be determined).
The race will start at 6am and will have a cut off time of 4pm.
There will be water at the drop bag locations, but all food must be provided by the runner.
This race has a cap of 30 runners in order to avoid the need for permits.
This is a public beach so each runner must yeild to any other pedestrians and must clean up after themselves.
