In the course of a project on German American Friendship organized by Fulbright, a German-American exchange association, this is an evening about cultural exchange within the surf community.
The event starts at 7pm with the screening of ‘Headache’ a movie made by German surfers on an adventure through the cold waters of Germany, Iceland, Scotland, and Denmark.
Afterwards, Simone Schoemig, a surfer from Germany, will speak about how a surf culture emerged in a country that hardly has any consistent breaks.
Some snacks and beer will be provided!
