Museum in Motion Bash Dragon Run

Spring in the Smokies, Tail of the Dragon and Biltmore all combined in one great MiM tour. Once again we hit the road, leaving Bowling Green and heading East to run the famous TN-129, aka Tail of the Dragon. This year again, we will be staying at the beautiful Biltmore Inn on the Biltmore Estate grounds. The Monday Biltmore visit includes a specially arranged early morning photo op of the cars in front of the manor house followed by breakfast in the Biltmore Stable Café adjacent to the house. This Museum in Motion will include a specialty tour at the Biltmore. We will not know any information about this tour until the end of the year. Biltmore has been making a couple of changes to their tours and will let us know the available tours once they have been finalized. Lunch will be at the Deer Park Restaurant on the grounds. After hours – enjoy a special private guided tour of the Mansion. New friends will be made while enjoying one of the most beautiful areas of the country during the colorful spring season. GPS as well as two-way radios highly recommended!

SATURDAY, APRIL 25th
4:15pm – 5:00pm	Registration Pickup & Drivers Meeting NCM – Location to be announced
SUNDAY, APRIL 26th
7:30am	Museum Opens
7:45am	Stage in NCM Front Circle
8:00am	Depart NCM Caravan heads out toward Asheville, NC Approximately 2 hour drive time
9:50am – 10:10am	Scheduled Rest Stop

12:45pm – 1:45pm	Gas Stop & Lunch – your choice of numerous restaurants in area Gas Stop recommended / optional Target Parking Lot – 1900 Town Center Boulevard, Knoxville, TN 37922 Wendy’s, McDonalds, Subway, Five Guys etc. Lunch not included in registration
1:50pm	Regroup and Stage Target Parking Lot
2:15pm	Approximate arrival to begin ‘Tail of the Dragon’ US 129 S  Alcoa, TN
5:30pm	Arrive in Asheville – check into the Inn on Biltmore Estate One Antler Hill Rd, Asheville, NC 28803 Lodging included in registration
6:00pm	Dinner on your own Options are Biltmore Inn, Biltmore Village, or beautiful Asheville $25 per person gift card included in registration
MONDAY, APRIL 27th
7:00am – 7:30am	Arrive Biltmore Estate Stage Cars for photography near Biltmore House Complimentary photo to be mailed after trip Shuttles provided at all stops on grounds at Biltmore Full day of activities included in registration
7:45am – 9:00am	Breakfast Buffet at Biltmore Stable Café Adjacent to Biltmore House, the stable, which originally housed George Vanderbilt’s horses and carriages, has been renovated into a beautiful restaurant. This special venue offers seating in former stalls and the hayloft area where we will be seated.
Times varies slightly by tours – check your ticket from Biltmore for times	Choice of 1 Xtra Behind the Scenes Tour of Biltmore House  (We will reach out to you after the beginning of the year with the tour choices made available by the Biltmore)
12:30pm – 1:30pm	Deerpark Restaurant Buffet Lunch– Biltmore Grounds Deerpark Restaurant is housed in a historic barn original to the estate. Enjoy prepared–to–order specialties in addition to classic favorites. The delightful courtyard restaurant specializes in Southern family–style dishes. Enjoy our Taste of the South lunch and brunch buffets highlighting regional Southern flavors drawn from the Carolina Coast, Low Country, Southern Appalachians, and Louisiana. Meet at Deerpark Restaurant Located approximately 3 miles from Biltmore House
2:00pm – 4:30pm	Antler Hill Village or Biltmore Gardens – Self Guided – Biltmore Grounds A stop at the Winery is a must for anyone who enjoys good food and wine – complimentary wine tastings will be offered in the Tasting Room throughout the day and visit the Barn, Farmland, and Kitchen Garden to learn more about Biltmore’s agricultural heritage. Before leaving the Village, be sure to pop in the Legacy Exhibit Hall to see the exhibit on display at the time or relax on the Village Green.
4:45pm – 6:15pm	NCM Private Guided Evening Visit – Biltmore House A visit to America’s largest home is a most memorable experience. Cross the threshold into a world of hospitality, beauty, and luxury that has remained virtually unchanged for more than a century. Hear the Biltmore story as you walk through the house with a knowledgeable guide. Meet at Biltmore House
6:30pm	Depart on Own to Inn on Biltmore Estates Free evening to enjoy as you wish Lodging included in registration
TUESDAY, APRIL 28th
	Day on Own to Rest, Explore, Enjoy Biltmore and Asheville Heard your suggestion to have a free day Lodging and admission again to Biltmore Estate included in registration
WEDNESDAY, April 29th Check Out and Depart
