Legendary flautist, Sir James Galway is bringing his “80th Birthday Celebration Tour” to The Grand as part of The Grand’s 125th Anniversary! A supreme performer, called “the Man with the Golden Flute,” Sir James will share the stage for selected pieces with flautist Lady Jeanne Galway. A man whose appeal transcends all musical boundaries, Sir James was inducted into the Hollywood Bowl Hall of Fame in 2008 alongside fellow inductees Liza Minnelli and B.B. King, and is possibly the only classical instrumentalist to bear the distinction. Melodious sounds will fill the acoustically perfect Grand! This project is sponsored in part by an award from the National Endowment for the Arts and Texas Commission on the Arts. Tickets are $30-$94.
