This year, Galveston Restaurant Week eatery has committed to help Access Care of Coastal Texas provide weekly lunches to its clients. These lunches provide nutrition for persons with HIV or AIDS. Participating in Galveston Restaurant Week is easy! No tickets or passes are required! Food lovers may simply dine out at as many participating restaurants as they like during Galveston Restaurant Week. Two and/or 3-course dinners will be priced between $20-$35; and 2-course lunches, breakfasts, & brunches will cost between $10-$20. Wear your craziest costume and take the plunge for charity! This year’s Polar Palooza will be held Saturday, January 25th at Floats Pool. Join us for a chilly dip and a good time that will benefit The Yaga’s Children’s Fund. Sign up starts January 1st and you can register with any of our Float bartenders or staff. Registration includes a t-shirt. Party starts at 1pm with dunk time at 3pm. We will have great prizes for costumes, drink specials and a chilling good time! Hope to see everyone there!

February 12th (6:30pm): Anchor Leg Athletic Club: Run Meet – Whether you are a walker, a jogger, or a seasoned marathoner, you are invited to join. At the end of each event, stick around and hang out with other runners, enjoy music, and sip brews. Check in time is at 6:30pm. You can choose from 3 miles, 2 miles, 1 mile. This will start at Devil and the Deep Brewery, Downtown Galveston. This is a free event and open to all levels. There is an optional donation of $5.
