DOT Hazardous Materials Regulations Free Training Workshop @ National Corvette Museum
Apr 14 – Apr 16 all-day

Join us for a FREE Training Workshop on DOT Hazardous Materials Regulations. This training is 24 hours in length, and is in accordance with 49 CFR § 172.70. The free course includes all training materials.

To ensure strong baseline knowledge of DOT HazMat Regulations, participants are strongly encouraged to complete 8 hours of online coursework prior to the start of the workshop.

This workshop is offered with U.S. DOT PHMSA HMIT grant support to the National Partnership for Environmental Technology Education (National PETE) in collaboration with the National Corvette Museum.

Join us for three fun filled days of events including Meet & Greet and Fashion Show on April 16, 2020, Vendors, Poker/Scenic Road Tours, All Corvette Parade through Hot Springs National Park, Friday Night Light Show,
Seminars by special guests Ken Lingenfelter of Lingenfelter Performance Engineering, Mike and Laurie Yager Owner of Mid America Motorworks, Wil and Liz Cooksey, Retired Corvette Plant Manager. Silent Auction, 50/50 Ticket Sales. Catfish and Chicken Lunch and Indoor Corvette Show. Awards at 2:00pm April 18, 2020 inside the Hot Springs Convention Center. This show is a fundraiser for the charities CACC supports.

Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach

The Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach is much more than a race weekend: it is a three-day, two evening festival, combining world-class racing with a wide variety of activities for the whole family, all taking place on the streets of downtown Long Beach.

More than 185,000 fans will see six exciting racing events headlined by the NTT IndyCar Series, the same cars and stars that run in the Indianapolis 500 each year. In addition, North America’s top sports cars, drifting, historic race cars and Robby Gordon’s jumping SUPER Trucks will be showcased during the weekend.

Off the track, the Acura Grand Prix will have Friday and Saturday evening concerts, free to same-day ticket holders, along with the popular Lifestyle Expo and Family Fun Zone that combines family-friendly activities with a show featuring the latest in home, automotive and personal products. There is also a Food Truck Experience with food trucks from all over L.A., the Mothers Exotic Car Paddock (Sunday only) and race driver autograph sessions from all six racing series.
