Many people know of Bernardo de Gálvez and why Galveston Island is named for him. But few know of the amazing accomplishments that he carried out, first as governor of Louisiana, and then as Viceroy of New Spain, with the help of his lovely and talented wife Marie Felicite.
Join Dr. Carolina Castillo Crimm, historian and an award-winning author, to learn how this unusual couple helped change both Louisiana and New Spain.
Members are free to attend, tickets for others is $10 at the door.
