The American Institute of Architects (AIA Houston Chapter) and La Izquierda Surf and Music Festival are coming together to bring an experience like never before for a 2-day festival on September 21 & 22.
Enjoy music, art, food, drinks, and family-friendly activities hosted on East Beach centered around the 37th AIA Sandcastle Competition. Plus, a one-of-a-kind Vendor Village in collaboration with The Brunch Mixer & Market.
The AIA & La Izquierda Sandcastle Festival is a fundraising event for AIA Houston and ArCH Foundation as well as one of the top five revenue-generating events for the City of Galveston.
Galveston Sandcastle Festival is a music, food, and family festival hosted on East Beach in Galveston, TX, centered around the AIA Houston Sandcastle Competition.
Expect a fun, family-friendly atmosphere and an amazing Sandcastle competition showcasing local music, food, art, and small businesses from Galveston and the Houston area.
The AIA Sandcastle competition takes place on Saturday, Sept 21st, and the fest goes through Sunday, Sept 22nd with a Sunday Brunch, live music, and activities for the whole fam. Get your tickets today- kids 12 and under get in free! Pet friendly.

Parking at East Beach is $15.00 per vehicle (CASH ONLY).
One-time entry with each admission; No re-entry. Unlimited Entry for only $50 with a Seasonal Beach Parking Pass.
