Head to Galveston’s red-hot Yaga’s Chili Quest & Beer Fest for serious chili sampling, live music, a 5K fun run/walk, and more in Historic Downtown Galveston.

Chili Quest consists of the ever-so-popular Chili & Beer tasting with a ton of added perks. Get ready for Chili Sampling, live music, a 5K Fun Run/Walk, a washer pitching tournament, a jackpot margarita contest, vendors and a historical strand merchant walk-about.

• 8AM – Teams Begin Cooking
• 9AM – Beerfoot Beer Run 5k Begins (28th & Seawall)
• 10AM – Vendors Open
  • Cornhole Check-In (Saengerfest Park)
• 11AM – Cornhole Tournament Begins (Saengerfest Park)
• 11:30AM – Will Call & Information Booth Open
  • Strand Merchant Walkabout Begins
• 12PM – Public Chili Sampling Begins
  • Regular Chili Turn-In (12:00-12:10)
  • VIP Indoor Beer Tasting Opens
  • Tres Generaciones Jackpot Margarita Contest – Saengerfest Park
• 1PM – Indoor Public Beer Tasting Opens
  • Will Carter Band performs – Saengerfest Park

Public Chili Sampling may be purchased in advance or day of at the Information Booth located at 2302 Strand. (while tickets last). Whip up a batch of your best chili recipe and bring it on down to the Galveston Historical Strand.

Compete for the gold and Chili Champion bragging rights. Although every chili has its own unique taste, they can’t all be winners. Here is your chance to light up those judges’ taste buds and show ‘em what you got!

To sample chili from the Cook Teams a Public Chili Sampling Ticket must be purchased in advanced or day-of.
