The Grand’s 2021-2022 Season Continues With The Official Blues Brothers Revue – November 26-27
The Grand 1894 Opera House kicks off the holiday season Thanksgiving weekend with The Official Blues Brothers Revue. Offering two performances from which to choose – Friday, November 26 at 8pm and Saturday, November 27 at 8pm, you will not want to miss hearing such classics as “Gimme Some Lovin”, and “Shout”! Look forward to experiencing all the wild comedy, music and mayhem of the legendary Blues Brothers with Wayne Catania and Kieron Lafferty — the only official duo chosen by Dan Aykroyd and Judy Belushi to don the trademark hat and sunglasses and walk in the footsteps of Jake and Elwood Blues.
This live concert production includes all the unforgettable songs from the original ‘80s movie, such as “Soul Man,” “Rubber Biscuit,” and “Sweet Home Chicago”, as well as hits from their five iconic albums. Backed by a powerhouse band and guest tribute artists covering the roles of Aretha Franklin, Cab Calloway, James Brown and Ray Charles, The Official Blues Brothers Revue will have you on your feet and keeping the beat throughout this incredibly grand evening of entertainment.
