“Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance, you must keep moving.” – Albert Einstein

And at Zipp E-bikes, riding a bike is super easy since these bikes are electric! Explore and experience Galveston’s history, curiosities, and most of all, the fun that only Galveston has to offer – all without breaking a sweat.

Zipp E-bikes has a wide variety of electric bicycle models to choose from with a bike style to suit everybody and every taste including RadRover (electric fat bike), RadMini (electric folding fat bike), and RadWagon (electric cargo bike). All electric bikes are available for rental.

Zipp E-bikes offers hourly (around $20), 2-hour (around $35), half day (around $45), full day (around $65) rentals as well as kids seats, bluetooth speakers, and a basket. Check the website for availability and rates.

Don’t know where to go on these cool bikes? You can sign up for one of Zipp E-bikes guided electric bicycle tours. Take a tour of the Historic District and see homes built during Galveston’s “Gilded Age” or ride along the famous Galveston Seawall with stops for photography and maybe even a splash in the surf. Tours are listed at zippebikes.com. Bikes are capable of handling the sand!

Coming this summer is a unique food and drink tour – Zipp E-bike’s EPICurean tour – a tour of Galveston where you can visit coolest restaurants and pubs.

Zipp E-bikes is located at 2311 Mechanic St., Downtown Galveston, across from the Tremont Hotel at 2311 Mechanic St. Contact them at Facebook at @zippebikes, call (409)539-3323, or online at zippebikes.com.
